Quick start guide
Four short walkthroughs that cover everything you need to get productive in Julexis: setting up a client, creating your first post, planning ahead on the calendar, and understanding the AI credits that power content generation.
Set up your first client
Everything in Julexis is organised by client, so this is always the first step. A client holds its own social accounts, brand voice and content history.
- Navigate to Clients from the main dashboard.
- Click Add New Client and fill in the basic information.
- Upload the client's logo for personalised branding.
- Connect social media accounts for each platform.
- Set up content preferences and tone of voice.
- Define posting schedules and target audience.
Tip
The more detail you put into the client profile — brand guidelines, target audience, tone of voice — the better the AI-generated content will match the client. See Managing clients for what to include.
Create your first post
- Go to Planner and click Create New Post.
- Select your target client and platforms.
- Write your content or use AI generation.
- Upload media files (images or videos).
- Review the platform-specific previews.
- Schedule the post or publish it immediately.
Each platform has its own rules about image sizes, video length and whether text-only posts are allowed. Julexis validates your media as you upload it — see Platform media requirements for the full list.
Plan ahead with the content calendar
- Navigate to Calendar from the main dashboard.
- View all scheduled posts across clients.
- Filter by client, platform or status.
- Drag and drop to reschedule posts.
- Click a post to edit it or view its details.
- Use the calendar to identify gaps in your content.
Understand AI credits
AI credits power every AI feature in Julexis. There is nothing to configure — no API key, no external account.
- All plans include monthly AI credits, with no setup required.
- Check your balance in Settings → AI Credits.
- Each operation uses credits: roughly 1 for a text post, around 4 for a post with an image.
- Document analysis is the most expensive operation at about 44 credits, and is limited per client per month.
- Credits reset monthly and unused credits do not roll over.
- If you need more, upgrade your plan or buy a top-up pack.
