Reply from the inbox

The inbox gathers the conversations around a client's posts — comments, mentions and direct messages — so you can read and answer them in one place.

What the inbox shows

The inbox works one client at a time. For the client you choose, it lists every conversation with the person who started it, the network and the latest message. Open a conversation to read the whole thread next to the original post.

Mentions of the account appear too, on the networks that report them. Pinterest isn't part of the inbox. Only networks connected for the client appear — see Connect your social accounts.

Choose the client

Pick the client from the selector at the top of the inbox. If you work in a team, you'll see the clients shared with you.

Filter the conversations

  • The tabs narrow the list to all, unread, mentions, comments, direct messages or archived conversations.
  • The row of network icons below the tabs shows one network at a time.
  • The search box finds a conversation by its text or author.

Reply

  1. Open the conversation.
  2. Write your reply in the box at the bottom.
  3. Send.

Depending on the network, you can also like, hide or delete a comment from the thread, mark a conversation as unread, archive it once it's resolved, or open it on the network itself.

On Threads, the conversation shows who is allowed to reply to the original post.

Juls reply suggestions

Not sure what to say? Ask Juls for suggestions from the reply box. Juls proposes a few replies; select one to put it in the box, edit it if you like, then send. Each request uses AI credits — at least one. See AI credits and usage.

The first sync

The first time you open the inbox for a client, Julexis loads the messages from the networks, which can take a moment. After that the inbox opens on the conversations it already has, marks them as cached and refreshes them; the refresh button fetches new messages straight away.

If a network shows nothing

  • Check that the account is connected and doesn't need reconnecting: open the client and look at its social accounts. See Reconnect an account.
  • For Facebook and Instagram, the inbox reads the Page and the account you connected. If you manage several Pages, make sure you selected all of them when Facebook asked — see Facebook.
  • A network that has no new comments or messages simply shows an empty list.
