Managing clients

Clients are how work is organised in Julexis. A client is a brand you publish for: it has its own social accounts, brand profile, plans and post history. (On the Personal plan, the one client is your own business, under Business Settings.)

Add a client

  1. Open Clients and add a new client.
  2. Enter the name and industry, and the review password your client will use to open review links (not needed on Personal). The client's name can't be changed afterwards.
  3. Optionally fill in the content language, the voice Juls writes in, a brand colour, the client's email for review links, and notes for Juls.
  4. Save. You can then connect their accounts straight away.

Connect the client's social accounts

Open the client: its social accounts card has a tile for each network. Select Connect and sign in on the network's own page. Facebook then asks you to choose a Page, and LinkedIn a Page or your personal profile.

The full walkthrough, network by network, is in Connect your social accounts. If the wrong account shows up, see Managing social connections.

The client page

From a client's page you can create a new plan for them, open the calendar filtered on them, and see their post history, where you can republish a past post. Choose Edit to change the client's settings.

Build the client profile

The Personalization tab of the client's edit page is the brand kit Juls writes from: business, objectives, audience, tone of voice and keywords. Fill it from the client's website or documents, or by hand. A client without it is flagged in your clients list, because plans and captions are much better with it. See Personalize a client: brand kit.

Work with your team

On the Agency plan you can invite up to five collaborators and choose which clients each one sees. Collaborators create plans and posts for those clients; only you, the owner, can add clients or change a client's settings. See Work as a team.

Share content with the client

Clients don't need a Julexis account. You send them a private review link, protected by the client's review password, where they preview posts, approve them or leave feedback. See Client review and approval.

Reviewing what was published

Each client's post history lists the posts published or scheduled through Julexis, plus any you've imported, and can be sorted by date and filtered by network. To bring in older posts published outside Julexis, use the Post History tab on the client's edit page — see Import past posts.

Your contact email for clients

Review emails show an address your client can write to — by default, your account email. On plans with client review, you can add an alternative email in Settings → Profile. Once you've verified it, it's shown to clients instead.

When you reach your client limit

Each plan includes a number of clients: one on Personal, up to three on SMM and up to ten on Agency. On SMM and Agency, adding a client at the limit opens the option to buy extra client slots; you can also manage them from Settings → Subscription — see Account and billing.
