Common issues
Fixes for the problems we're asked about most. If none of these help, email us at info@julexis.com with the client and the post involved.
Why is my post stuck in "Publishing" status?
- Open the client and check its social accounts. If one needs reconnecting, reconnect it.
- Open the post in the calendar. If it has failed, the reason is shown there and you can retry it.
A post failed to publish
Open the failed post in the calendar to read the reason, fix the cause, then retry. You can edit a failed post first — to swap a file that a network refused, for example. The most common causes are covered in When a post fails.
The sign-in window doesn't open
Your browser or an ad blocker stopped the pop-up. Julexis shows a panel instead, with the steps for your browser. Allow pop-ups for Julexis, turn off ad blockers (AdGuard, uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus and similar) for the site, then check again from the panel. Details in Pop-ups blocked.
The wrong account gets connected
The network signs you in with whichever account is already logged in in your browser. Use the log-out option in the connection checklist, or open a private window, log in with the right account and connect from there. See Wrong account showing.
The connection didn't complete
When a connection fails, the pop-up and Julexis say why:
- Cancelled — the sign-in was closed or declined before it finished. Nothing changed; connect again when ready.
- Refused by the network — try again, signed in with the account that manages the profile. For Facebook, you need admin rights on the Page.
- Expired or timed out — the sign-in took too long (Julexis waits five minutes). Start again.
- Session needs a refresh — reload the Julexis page and try again.
For Facebook, also make sure you selected every Page you manage when Facebook asked, then chose this client's Page in Julexis. Closing that Page picker disconnects Facebook. See Facebook.
An account says it needs reconnecting
The connection expired or lost permissions — for example because a password changed, access was removed on the network, or an Instagram Login connection reached its 60 days. Select Reconnect on the account's tile and sign in again with the same account. If a Facebook Page has removed your role, ask the Page owner to restore it first: reconnecting alone won't help. See Reconnect an account.
The platform is loading slowly. What can I do?
Clear your browser cache and cookies, and turn off browser extensions that might interfere. If it persists, try a private browsing window or contact us.
I can't upload certain image files. Why?
Check the file against the platform requirements for size, format and dimensions — Instagram, for example, takes JPEG photos only, and TikTok doesn't take PNG. Julexis shows the problem on the file and, for some images, offers a fix. If a file seems damaged, export it again as JPEG or PNG.
Can I recover a deleted post?
No — deleting a post is permanent. If you might want the content again, edit the post or move it to a later date instead of deleting it.
What browser is recommended?
Use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge, with JavaScript enabled and pop-ups allowed for Julexis — connecting social accounts needs a pop-up window.
