Media and files
How Julexis handles the images and videos you upload: which formats it accepts, where they are stored, and how it prepares them for each platform.
What file formats are supported for uploads?
Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP. Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM. Maximum file sizes vary by platform — see Platform media requirements. Julexis automatically converts files to optimal formats when needed.
How is media organized in Julexis?
Media is automatically organized by client and post. When you upload images or videos to a post, they're stored with that post. You can access past media through the client's post history or by editing existing posts.
Can I resize images automatically for different platforms?
Yes! When uploading images, enable "Auto-resize for platforms" and the system will create optimized versions for each selected platform. You can also manually crop images using our built-in editor.
Is there a limit on media uploads?
Media uploads are limited by file size per platform — see Platform media requirements. Images are automatically optimised to reduce file size while maintaining quality. Media files for published posts are automatically cleaned up 30 days after publication.
What happens to media when I delete a client?
When you delete a client, all associated content plans, posts, and media files are permanently removed. Make sure to save any important content before deletion if you need to keep records.
