Notifications and email alerts
Julexis tells you when something needs your attention: a client approved a post, left feedback, a post failed or a social account needs reconnecting. You decide what reaches you in the app and what reaches your email.
Where notifications appear
Open Notifications from the sidebar; a counter shows how many are new. On the notifications page:
- the tabs filter by category;
- selecting a notification takes you straight to the plan, post or page it's about;
- you can mark everything as read in one go;
- the settings button opens your notification preferences (also found in Settings → Notifications).
The five categories
| Category | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Approvals | A client approved a post in a plan you sent. |
| Feedback | A client left comments or change requests on a post. |
| Juls | AI drafts ready for review and weekly digests. |
| Team | New collaborators, role changes and invitations. |
| System | Billing, trial, social accounts to reconnect and failed posts. |
For Approvals you can choose to hear about every approved post, or only when the whole plan is complete.
In the app, by email, or both
In Settings → Notifications, each category has two controls:
- In-app — on or off.
- Email — instant, a daily digest, or off. Juls notifications are never emailed.
As the settings page notes, email delivery for some of the newer categories is still being rolled out; your preferences are saved now and apply as soon as it is.
Quiet hours
Turn on quiet hours to pause emails at night. Emails that fall inside the window are held until it ends. Choose the window and the time zone it should follow.
Mute clients
Select clients to mute. Their Approval and Feedback notifications are hidden; every other category still reaches you. Handy for a client whose plan you're not handling this month.
Tip
Keep System notifications on. They're how you learn that a post failed or that a social account needs reconnecting before the next scheduled post is due. See Reconnect an account.
