Analytics data availability
When you connect a social profile, Julexis automatically retrieves historical analytics data. How far back that history goes (the backfill) and how often it refreshes depend on the social network and the limits of its API.
Why might some data be unavailable?
- We are still gathering data for a recently connected profile.
- Some data from before the date you connected the profile is not available from the network at all.
- The profile was temporarily disconnected during the period you selected.
- Data for the current day can take up to 24 hours to become available.
- Audience growth data can take up to 3 days to start populating after connection.
- Some networks limit historical backfill to a certain number of days or posts.

Stories (Facebook and Instagram)
Stories disappear from the social networks' APIs after 24 hours. Julexis captures story data every 8 hours and stores it permanently in your analytics history.
This means that if a story is posted and expires before the next refresh cycle, it may not be captured. For the best results, make sure profiles are connected before you post stories.
Manual refresh
You can force a data refresh at any time using the refresh button on the Analytics page. This fetches the latest data from all connected platforms immediately and updates the stored cache.
Historical data retention
Julexis stores up to 2 years of analytics history for each connected profile. Even when a social network limits how much it will backfill, once Julexis has captured the data it is retained for the full retention period — so you can compare performance across long time ranges.
